The Sad Love Story is Back!

It has been a long time since I last posted on this Sad Love Story Faraway Place blog. Well, I am back. Am I back to tell you about my love story that ends with a happy ending? No, not yet. That is still in the works. Yes, I am still on the search for love. True love, and I will not settle until I find it. And none of you should settle either. Never settle! Wait for true love. This post is not really supposed to be about my love story though. I was going to talk about what I am going to do with this blog now. Well, perhaps there is enough time to talk a little about both.

If you haven’t read my Sad Love Story post from about a year ago, then you may want to read it. Or you can just move forward with me. I have lots of hope of finding true love very soon in fact, but all good things come in good time. Patience is key, which I have to keep reminding myself. I think this summer is going to be a great summer of love. I am still on all of the dating sites. I have found a few more to join as well, which I don’t think I am going to mention here. Let’s just say there are tons of dating sites out there. Dating sites that are geared towards people who enjoy specific hobbies or whatnot.

I changed my default picture the other day and low and behold I have received about a hundred emails over a couple of days! Now, I had the one picture in my profile of pictures. All I did was make it my default picture. This picture is not a scandalous picture either. Okay, it is one of those mirror pictures that so many people don’t like. (Why do so many people dislike those pics anyway? I don’t care if a person shows some skin. If they want to flaunt it, I like to look! haha:) But I took the picture from the waist up and I am wearing a tight shirt that covers everything, it is tight though. Anyway, the point is, if you want to attract a lover, make sure your pictures are up to par. And please put up as many pictures as you can. One picture only says you are trying to hide something.

Anyway, I am so happy things in the love department are looking bright. We will see what happens. Perhaps next time I will post a happy love story, not a sad one. I have been talking a lot to this one guy on the phone and on Skype. He lives out of state though, yes I know, I know. But we have so much in common and he is funny! We will see...

The Future of The Sad Love Story Faraway Place

Back to the depressing love story blog. I have been thinking about trying to write some short tear jerker love stories as ebooks. I have always loved reading romantic stories my whole life. I have written a romantic vampire novel, but it never got past the editing stage. It is now being used to hold up my bed. Well, after all my past relationship woes something has to hold up my bed...j/k. So I was thinking I might try my hand a short stories. I may post some here and would really appreciate it if you would give me some feedback. Now, I just need a kick in the butt to actually start writing and stop dreaming.

I was also thinking I might read and review some great sad romantic stories. Of course, I love romantic vampire novels, but I will try to review some short love stories of all genres instead. Please, let me know of any love stories that are your favorites. I would love to read them and post about them. Until the next sad love story, farewell.
