Want to Hear a Sad Love Story?

Do you enjoying reading about a sad love story? Or do you enjoy watching love movies that have a sad love story in them? Why do you enjoy such sad stories? Why don’t you like happy ones? Are you such a happy person, that you need a little sadness to balance you out?

I personally like comedy love movies or books with a happy love story. I don’t understand why you would actually want to watch or read about a sad love story. However, then I started thinking about all the sad love stories out there. There are quite a few good classic ones. And then I understood a little more. Although, I still enjoy stories with a happy ending.

Does a sad love story have to have a sad ending? Or can it have a happy ending? I think most people enjoy a happy ending, but sad endings do happen. Life is not all about happy endings, sad things happen in life. It is all a part of life and we have to strive to be happy, despite the bad things that happen to everyone. Besides if everything was happy in the world, how would we know that we were even happy? If we were never sad, how would we know what being happy is? If you don’t know what feels bad, how do you know what feels good? Am I making any sense? Don’t you think it would be a boring world if a sad love story never happened?

Now, I am not some weird masochist that loves pain and sad love stories. I would love to live in a world filled with love and no hate. A world filled with happy love stories. However, it might be a little boring. I am just trying to say that variety is the spice of life. Hmm…maybe I do like to hear about a sad love story after all. I just didn’t even know it.

What is Your Favorite Sad Love Story?

A classic sad love story is the story of Juliet and her Romeo. This story is a classic and is very romantic and very sad. It teaches a valuable lesson too, don’t kill yourself! Because they could have been together and there is always another fish in the sea. There is plenty of love to be found out there. I don’t believe that there is only one soul mate out there. I think there are many soul mates that you are meant to be with. Bad things happen a lot and one’s love may pass away, but does that mean that person is doom to a life of misery for the rest of their life? No, many people move on and find another true love.

What is another sad love story favorite or sad love movie? There is the movie, Titanic, with Leonardo Dicaprio (Jack) and Kate Winslet (Rose). It was one of the biggest love movies! I know I saw it twice in the theater. How many times did you see it? I remember a lot of girls saw it several times. It was a great movie and it was sad. Jack didn’t make it. You wanted him to, but he didn’t make it. Rose was very sad, but she moved on and had a wonderful life. She decided to really live life, full of passion. She want after her dreams and rode horses, and she found another true love as well. So yes, it was a sad love story, but it was also happy, because Jack taught her to really live.

I think we like to hear about a sad love story once in awhile, because we relate. We have all gone through bad experiences. And it is nice to know that we are not alone. Sad things happen to everyone. It is all about how we deal with the ending. Do we continue to make it sad or do we make it a happy ending? Sad love stories help us to learn about ourselves and learn from our mistakes. So we can move on and turn that sad love story into a truly happy ending.
